Q. What is this event?
A. The Back to School Give Away sponsored by The Morales Memorial Foundation is annual event hosted on the parking lot of Morales Funeral Home. As a way to support our community and education, the foundation gives away 2,000+ complete school kits during the event. In addition, we bring in free local services which include immunization, nutrition information and more!

Q. Is registration required?
A. Register is NOT required. However, it is highly encouraged. Registration does not guarantee school supplies. Supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-service basis. We encourage you to arrive early.

Q. How do I register my student?
A. Register through this website (https://www.eventbrite.com/e/2018-annual-back-to-school-give-away-ticket...) or call 713-223-1167. The registration link will be available June 1st at 7am. Registration does not guarantee school supplies. Supplies will be distributed on a first-come, first-service basis. We encourage you to arrive early.

Q. Is there a cost to attend?
A. We are pleased to announce that this is a free event, sponsored by The Morales Memorial Foundation.

Q. Do the children need to be present?
A: Children must be present to receive school supplies.

Q. Can I bring other children that need school supplies to the event?
A. Yes. All student must be with their parents or legal guardian of age.

Q. Where is event parking located?
A. Designated parking is available at 2707 Navigation Blvd. (Across from HFD Station 17) courtesy of the Greater East End Management District.

Street parking is available along Canal Street and Navigation immediately surrounding the funeral home at 2901 Canal Street Houston, Texas 77003

Q. What do I need to bring to the event?
A. At the Fest, you must present:
• Student receiving school supplies
• ORIGINAL Shot record if student is receiving Immunization. (School health records are not accepted)

Q. Can event volunteers receive school supplies for their children?
A. Event offerings are available only for students and their families attending the Back to School Fest as participants.

Q. What if it rains?
A. The fair will continue as scheduled in the event of rain.

Q. What happens if you run out of school supplies?
A. Supplies will be given out on a first come, first serve basis. Parents are encouraged to get there early.
